Welcome to My Madness

Well, guess I'm doing this. Are blogs even still a thing? I don't know, but here I am. In all seriousness I wanted to get whatever thoughts out of my head and on "paper" somewhere. It helps me process things, especially with my ADHD; and why not get my thoughts and ideas out there.

Allow me to introduce myself. I go by Riku (I'll cover why in another post), but my real name is Chris. I'll answer to either, but I prefer Riku in non-professional, extracurricular spaces. I currently reside in Madison, WI, but get to Chicago so often folks tend to think I live/moved there.

In my normal, everyday life, I work in Higher Education Technology as a de facto Digital Product Manager in Student Affairs. It's been an interesting experience, especially given it being a career change from my original industry of Video Game Development, but I love it. It's a unique role in our office, so it definitely keeps me on my toes.

Outside of work, I travel, play TTRPGs and video games, and am heavily involved in the LGBTQ+ Leather and Furry scenes. I'm also involved in theatre when I can, usually in the stage management role. In the TTRPG space, I stream one of the games I run, "Reign of Vecna", as part of Halfling Wizard Productions on Youtube and Twitch.

You'll find posts from professional to personal, spanning various topics. Fair warning, there will be some spicier topics, as I am heavily involved in the leather and kink communities, but there is a toggle to hide those posts, or blur just the images of the posts (No nudity, but some kinkwear/activities may be pictured).
